too bad the entrance fee is freaking HUGE (500€)

It's partly because of the big prizepurse and I think the top teams have no problem paying this since they only get more money in the end if they manage to win.

Why did it change from eight groups of four to four groups of six (with five progressing!?!)? I thought the idea of having the B tournament was that it allowed the A tournament to be filled in the event of undersubscription?

They made the changes Wednesday night. I guess it is because they had only 17 teams signed and coming for the A tournament.
