And r_mode 6 ig?! Wow! I think it's dirty with r_mode 8, can't have decent aim (m_pitch and stuff) and can't hit the head but well... r_mode 6!

Yup 6 in game. Have tried other r_modes and custom h/x but never liked them as much. Shooting just as well as I was on 4:3 with this setup.

Depends completely on your monitor. If you use 16/9 you should be using your native resolution or a 16/9 resolution at least.

On my 4:3 CRT, I use r_mode 6 @ 120hz/125FPS
