is not possible... like.. with my old mx518 i get 2000hz sometimes.. with my g5 without drivers i get 500hz.. if i install drivers and i try to change to 1000hz, i get everytime 500hz only... :< i don't know if exist any new program for change rate in G5
I fear that it is not the G5 drivers. The G5 drivers can be completelly bypassed. I fear that it is the microcontroller that is used inside the G5. It simply is not capable of sending out 1000 packets / second, whereas the microcontroller of Copperhead is.
If memory serves me both the G5 and the Copperhead have the same Agilent A6010 (ADNS-6010) Laser Mouse Sensor.
u can be right imo... drivers can be bypassed... because check.. i use win xp... and if i connect my mouse i get automatically 500hz without any drivers...
default= 500hz ..

Win2K is called USBHz. It's from an unknown author. Hard to find.
For the WinXP patch you can search around XFire. Or you can go to http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/USB-Mouserate-switcher.shtml and download it.
After having run da poach, use mouse rate cheker to see the true hz http://tscherwitschke.de/mouseratechecker.html.
Thank you kindly for your attention.
i use win xp btw
