I think your problem is that your et works fine except for freezing for 0.2 seconds every 3 to 5 seconds.

i dont know, ive got stable fps but everything freezes. no fps drop or whatever and my lag-o-meter seems fine
I had some similar problems with mine a few years ago and found a program called VAL (Vista Anti Lag) which sorted it, afaik there was a similar program which helped other o/s's aswell but cannot think of the name atm :/
