Starting day 3 with
Zenio against
SuperNoVa of which the winner will have to face
MMA in the round of 8, we are bound to see two of potential winners dropping out in the early play-off stages. As expected, Group A was dominated by the Korean superhumans
MMA,
viOLet and
JYP, despite
Socke taking a close 4th. Had he lost one map less, he would've moved on to the round of 16 due to his win against
JYP.
The Germans in general have been a huge surprise with both
HasuObs and
DarKFoRcE taking 3rd in their respective groups, putting on decent performances against top tier players.
The biggest surprise, however, should be the rise of
Feast. Regarded as one of the best up-and-comers in the scene right now and being mentored by the famous
Grubby, noone knew what to expect from the 18 year-old. He ultimately took out the likes of
SuperNoVa,
Kas and
IdrA, only losing to
DarKFoRcE in a very tight match.
In Group B we see
elfi, the best Protoss in the world, making it to the round of 16, where he will have to face another Protoss,
JYP, allowing
elfi to play his strongest matchup, so we'll have to see how that goes.
Updated predictions:
MMA vs.
MC/
Feast, in a match during which anything can happen.

Are you implying that he isn't?

Yes?

Your sarcasm detector is taking a day off today it seems.

Actually its true, bad day :D

I'm jumping on the bandwagon of obviously making fun of him, like Bitterdam.

elfi best protoss ":D"

LoL takes so much more skill than starcraft zomg

oh that seems to be why the people in sc2 are a lot nicer than the people playing lol...
