shutting down = reboot?!

Since 3 days i have some probs to shut down my pc... it sipmly reboots every time I hit the power button of my keyboard ... I tryed virusscanning / spyware scans etc but really cant find the problem :(

any suggestions?

check power saving options in windows, you can chose what the power button has to do when pressed

I had EXACTLY the same problem. It's all about your power supply if you ain't really really lucky, you'll need a new one.
