Just dl ET to play on a public server. If u want to play some officials (cybergamer.com) u need to install CGAC (anti-cheat)

it is pretty difficult these days, u have to press the Download ET button on this page ( on the right side ) and then install and start the game.

You'll get weird sounds with that download pack (I did!), but you can get normal sounds/footsteps using snd_restart in console.
