et over socks5 proxy

is it possible to route et over a socks5 proxy? or will it become unplayable? or is it impossible at all?

depends on the speed of the proxy, if it's some random public proxy then your ping will come to about a zillion, because the proxys i use for my utorrent give like 4 kb/, which is surely not enough for ET.

Yes it's possible. No it's not unplayable at all as long as it's a fairly local and stable proxy, added ~20ms ping for me.
