LANGUAGES RULES

Just to point this out again. We DO allow posting in different languages in journals only and ONLY if there is a (LANGUAGE) in the title of the journal.

If we find posts in other languages in journals without a (LANGUAGE) tag in the title, they will be deleted and it could result in a temporary ban for you, so pay attention and keep it clean. Repeatedly ignoring the rule will result in a longer ban.

This rule ONLY applies to journals. Posting and replying anywhere else (news, articles, interviews etc) is english only.

the rule is very simple. if there is (LANGUAGE) in the title of the journal, THEN you can go ahead and post in THAT language in comments and replies.

and you post a comment in english its forbidden as well?

english is the main language of the site so you are always allowed to reply in english. the only exception to post in a foreign language is if the journal title has (language) in it.. plain and simple

What if someone makes a post in language X and someone replies in language Y. With X and Y being similar languages. Neither X nor Y is spoken by any admin.

What will happen? :P

use your comon sense.. most likely nothing as we dont have the ability to see that someone is breaking the language rules on languages none of the admins speak.

I didnt make that promise. I'm only posting this journal to point out the rules on languages and that I'm gonna be strict about it.

you can't simply put (ANY language) in there cuz it's not a language. you can't put (gibberish) in there cuz it's not a language.

the language should be a real language and only replies in THAT language are allowed.

Simple.. If you say "mater" I know it could be both. If you say "picku mater" it's most likely croatian :P

Serious answer is -> there is more than one admin and yes we know we can't check it all, but the main prob is NL/DE/BE ppl anyway.

it starts with a 1-day ban so np.. if they continue they get a 2 day ban. After that a week ban and so on and so on.
