After receiving complaints I'm going to delete all journals that are mocking the (languages) rules cuz they are only posted to make fun of it.

So after this one, the first to post a journal to make fun of the (languages) rule is gonna recieve a one-week ban.

(no im not an asshole, Im just enforcing rules here. Or whatever, I am an asshole but I'm still the asshole that enforces rules)

:D BUT what if they run the server on Unix (or in the worst case, Windows server)? I don't think the "apache2 stop" command would work then ;-)

the rule is more than 2 years old, and until now none cared about it, and crossfire still worked, but suddenly Ronner starts acting like Himmler and sort all those out who do have fun on crossfire with posting something funny.

Posting in another language was never allowed according to the first rules made about 2 or 3 years ago. It then sorta got tollerated but has always been some sort of a topic for a new version of crossfire to make language filters so ppl could filter it out. Then a little while ago (when I was not admin) new rules were made to use (languagename) in the topic if you wanted to post something in a different language. So the rules were changed. It's not the same rules anymore as two years ago and I'm not the one that made the rule but as an admin I will enforce it.
