The BBC iPlayer sucks balls!

testing it out by downloading the Top gear polar special and it's taken like 3 hours to do 78% of a 380MB file...

it's based on the same p2p tech as channel 4's 4OD client...which is still slow after X months after being released.

the fact is, UK internet connections generally have shitty upload speeds of 35~kB/s

so for a UK ONLY p2p client in which there is a low number of participants because no one really cares, you aren't going to get quick downloads
