mouserate ;'(

Why does my mouserate only reach an average of 30 Hz with peaks of 150 Hz once in a while, when I force it to 250 Hz and this only when I'm playing ET ;[? HEEELP!

which port you plugged it in? usb or ps/2..?

USB (only recently). Before that I always plugged it into my PS/2 port.
