DeathAdder DPI ?

Is the problem with the lower DPI fixed with firmware updates or does it still only perform at its best @ 1800 DPI ?

I'm talking about this problem

problem was when the mouse has released = early 2007, problem fixed since the new drivers+firmware update so you dont have to worry, DeathAdder > *

As far as I know it hasn't been fixed but the speeds needed to cause the mouse to skip at 450 dpi (the lowest setting) you will never reach so it's no problem.
