I use a microfibre cloth, I don't know where you would get one normally though

I have glasses, so I just use the cloth that came with them for my mousemat.

if its like really dirty, people have recommended using a "somewhat damp cloth", but I've only ever had to do that once

not the microfibre cloth, but just a regular cloth.

1. use microfibre cloth to clean particles of dust etc.
2. use a dampened (not microfibre) cloth to clean stains.
