Net limiting help

So I was using Netlimiter on my laptop cuz I got dynamic sharing router. But theres only 256 RAM memory and program doesnt seem to use it economical and I dont like the program anyway. Are there any simple programs, without unnecesarry and stupid options to set up firefox net usage? Havent found any good yet.
