Sherlock Holmes

Saw it in the cinema yesterday. Simply great. Guy Ritchie made an awesome movie out of what seemed to be a not-so-cool material. Expected a good movie from him as always but what I saw was far better than I could have thought, I was really impressed.

Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law created a terrific duet, having Rachel McAdams as their aid. If count it as a movie seen in 2009, it was one of the best movies of the year to me, along with Avatar and Inglorious Basterds.

Now just waiting for a good quality version to be released to see it again because I might have missed on some details which I wouldn't have normally overlooked. But that's what happens if you watch a movie only a few hours after the New Year's party is finished :p. The DVD will probably be released in May so don't wait for it and just go see it in the cinema!

im sure gonna wtach it. guy ritchie movies are always fantastic.my favourite moviemaker next to scorcese and christopher nolan

Didn't really like the previous movies or animations. The Holmes here was just the opposite. It broke the image of Sherlock compared to what I'd seen before, in a very positive way, that is

Got in touch with one of them in the past, didn't get through it, though. Lack of the kid's time :p. But I got in quite the mood to read them now, maybe I'll do so soon.

even if the old holmes movies taste a bit outdated, I still like them as well, so this one is prolly pretty good for me ;)
