QUAKE LIVE PROBLEM plugin

For some reason while installing the newest update a window pops up saying Error reading from file c:\quakelive\npcleanup.vps Verify if the file exists or you can access it.

Does it actually work? The tool says something about microsoft office but I'm pretty sure it got posted on the forums before. :/
