WCG 2009 Championship - Groups drawn

More than four thousand years ago, the prehistorical Bronze Age culture of Jinsha established itself in this region. The fertile Chengdu Plain, on which Chengdu is located, is called Tianfuzhi guo in Chinese, which literally means "the country of heaven", or more often seen translated as "the Land of Abundance". It was recently named China's 4th-most livable city by China Daily.

With so many events taking place these days all around the world, one cannot wonder but see the yearly World Cyber Games event as one of the classiest and most profoundly sport like events out there.

Especially since they start with the national approach of ESWC but take it to the next level, eliminating all line-up mixing and creating a ranking across the different games where the amount of medals won will be tallied up, as is tradition for the Olympic Games as well.

WCG 2009 will be held from November 11 to 15 in Chengdu, China. Not only PC and Xbox games, but also Mobile Game Category and MORPG will appear on WCG 2009 Grand Final.
