RTCW Action

After the Xmas and New Year break the (now) Late Xmas Cup is about to pick up again as the first semi final game between Chaos and Rewind is getting played this tuesday. Rewind will be hungry for revenge as both teams already met in the groupstage in a rather onesided game where rewind barely stood a chance on ice and frostbite. Map elimination should speak in their favor however as they have eliminated both maps ever since and looked strong in their games against indomitus and cave.


On the other side of the bracket just one semi finalist is know at the current time. In an amazing game 118 were able to secure the spot while coming as close to their first ever loss as never before.
At a score of 2-1 in favor of KiH the swedish side just had to fullhold 118 on beach in order to win the match. And when zerom hit a 3man panzer shot in the radioroom with just 15 seconds left on the clock it looked like good game. But 118's docscarrier 2d survived and KiH's last man standing askungen could not stop him from transmitting the docs in the last seconds of the round.

The next challenger for 118 will be decided between Fixed and No Pressure. Fixed look to be the underdog in this match due to the recent departure of Sirkka and Oldensan to the finnish army. However it would be a mistake to write off the finns so early since they are practising actively and have already defeated nP in the last RTCW-Cup




It should also be mentioned that the lineup for nP is not final yet and Sipperi's childhood dream of playing against mystic could possibly come true...
