CB NationsCup: Sunday Extravaganza

We have already witnessed last season's winners, Finland, beat Norway, and three other games last Thursday between The UK and Slovakia, Israel and Switzerland, and between Spain and Hungary; the results can be found here.

Estonia versus Australia - 4:0
The first game will be between Estonia and Australia at 14:00CET.
Last season Estonia came in second after losing to Finland in the final. Will Estonia repeat their success or will the team from down under do the nearly impossible now that Estonia don't have Night?


France versus Russia - 4:0
The second match will be between France and Russia at 20:00CET.
Last season France finished second in their group after Poland, and was eliminated from the playoffs after losing to Estonia in the fourth round of the lower brackets.
Russia, on the other hand, won one game against Lithuania and came in third in their group.


The Czech Republic versus Denmark - Denmark used its wildcard
The third match will be between The Czech Republic and Denmark at 21:00CET.
Last season the Czechs finished second in their group after Belgium and were eliminated from the playoffs after losing to Spain in the first round of the lower brackets.
Denmark lost their qualifier match versus Lithuania and did not participate in the cup.


The Netherlands versus Chile - 4:0
The match between the Netherlands and Chile will be played at 21:00CET.
Last season the Netherlands finished first in their group and were eliminated by France in the third round of the lower brackets. Chile lost all of their games and came in last in their group.

Poland versus Slovenia - 4:0
The match between Poland and Slovenia will be played at 21:00CET.
Last season Poland topped their group and was eliminated by Estonia in the fifth round of the lower brackets. Slovenia lost all of its games and came in last in their group.


Belgium versus Austria - 4:2
The match between Belgium and Austria will be played at 21:00CET.
Last season Belgium topped their group and was stopped by IKEA in the second round of the lower brackets. Austria beat Greece and finished third in their group.


Croatia versus Ukraine - 4:0
The match between Croatia and Ukraine will be played at 22:00CET.
Ukraine already played two matches this season in the qualifier stage in which they lost to China and beat Colombia. Last season they lost their qualifier match and did not participate in the cup.
Croatia placed second in their group after Estonia and lost to Sweden in the first round of the lower brackets.


Portugal versus Sweden - 0:4
The last match tonight will be between Portugal and Sweden at 23:00CET.
Last season Portugal finished third in their group after the UK and Germany. Sweden came in second in their group and was eliminated by Poland in the third round of the lower brackets.


USA versus Colombia - 4:0
The match between the US and Colombia will be played at 23:0CET.
Last season the US finished second in their group after Canada and lost to Latvia in the first round of the lower brackets.
Colombia already played two matches this season in the qualifier tournament by beating China and losing to Ukraine. They did not play last season.


Wildcards
Romania has used its wildcard versus Canada.
Iceland has used its wildcard versus Italy.
Both games are currently unscheduled.
