CB NC: Lower Bracket Round 2

Portugal vs France - 0:4
The first match tonight will be between two teams who have both recently fallen to Finland's wrath and who have both triumphed over Austria.

Portugal had to face the Finns in the first round of the playoffs. After Portugal lost and joined the ranks of the others teams in the lower bracket they succeeded in beating Austria, the same team which proved to be a challenge to both Belgium and the US.

France played against Finland in the second round of the upper bracket after they beat Austria 4:0 in the first round. Yet France topped their group (Group H), while Portugal originally came in third (Group B) but continued to the playoffs as Sweden dropped out by request.



Canada vs the Netherlands - Postponed
The second match tonight will be between Canada, who recently beat the Czech Republic in the first round of the lower bracket after they lost to Germany in the first round of the upper bracket.

The Netherlands were defeated, to some people's surprise, by Germany last week in the second round of the upper bracket.



United Kingdom vs Spain - 4:0
The third match tonight, which will take place at 21:30CET, will be between one of the cup's favorites and Spain.

The UK recently lost to Poland in the second round of the upper bracket and Spain recently beat Italy in the first round of the lower bracket.



Estonia vs Croatia - 4:0
The fourth and final game tonight will be between Estonia, who came in second last season, and Croatia.

To many people's surprise the team which lost a map to both Austria and Colombia defeated Estonia last week in the second round of the upper bracket. Croatia last week beat Switzerland.
