Quarter Final Time - CF ET Winter

The Crossfire ET Winter tournament has reached the quarter final stage with three games being played this Sunday. One game has already taken place with turbot beating nTerror, who will drop into the lower bracket to face TRG with turbot waiting on the game between one.soldier and erAse to see who they face in the next round.

gentleMen come of the back of a first round win against TRG and come up against a team with vast experience in phase. After initially having a team of mixed experience, chry was added at the last minute to strengthen the lineup, although the players with the most experience and silverware in Clown and sqzz will still probably be the forerunners in the game changing 'plays'. The Dutch side will be up against it but with nothing to lose pressure is completely off and if they get anything from this game at all they can walk away happy.

Keyboard Warriors face Mysterious Monkeys in this round, with the Germans progressing past Finnish outfit r@g in the last round. Although having some players in the lineup with a lot of top level experience in Kiwi and sTOWNAGE it will be an uphill struggle against the early cup favorites who have played together in some way or another for a long time. All positions in their lineup boast masses of ability with L4mpje probably being singled out as on of the best aimers in the tournament.

Although Team one.soldier are probably favorites for this game all of the team are out of practice in Enemy Territory and as their game in the Eurocup group stage showed, which was also against erAse, an upset could happen. erAse however will want to switch it all around from the EC tie and take home a win with toNi on the rifle being key to any success, and if the game plays out like the EuroCup game did last week, anything could happen.

In this full Finnish match up Turbot came out on top after a game that was organised very early on in the schedule (Other teams, take note) against nTerror. Due to GTV issues how much of a dominating performance it was is hard to determine however a turbot representative had this to say, walle: "easy"

turbot will face the winner of one.soldier against erAse in the next round and as a team that has played together for a long time will be favorite for that game, whoever they face. nTerror face TRG in the lower bracket first round.
