CG EU ET Season 2: First Matchweek

The first matchweek of CyberGamer EU ET Season 2 will be coming to an end on Monday. All unscheduled matches have been forced, so here's a preview of a few upcoming 3on3 & 6on6 league games!


This week's maps are adlernest & supply (6on6) and frostbite & sw_goldrush_te (3on3). Let's take a look at some of the matches being played on Sunday and Monday!

6on6

On Sunday at 21:00 CEST, CatiNaHat will face off against Serious Incident Called Karma for the first time ever. Freddy and the Fins have been pretty active the past few weeks, but it's as uncertain as Oxy's lineup whether or not that will be enough to defeat sick6.



Another match taking place at 21:00 CEST on Sunday is erAse.et versus Electrostatic Discharge. The last game esSe and toNi played against anim and Tomun ended in a 4-2 win for the Europeans. Will the NA guys (and palemki) manage to turn that score around this time?



At 21:30 CEST, we'll see DoubleDutchDragons and 'xD Trickjump, battle it out. Both teams have been practicing much lately, so the result will likely be decided by simply which team is more individually talented. With the Poles appearing much stronger on paper, Sebhes and co have their work cut out for them.



On Monday at 20:00 CEST, TAG vs TURBOAPINAT will be played. The last time these two teams met was in the 6on6 SC playoffs when TAG managed to win 4-0. However, the Fins have been playing a lot since then and will be looking to turn the tables on them this time around.

3on3

One of the very first games we'll see on Sunday is Second Massachusetts vs DoubleDutchDragons at 19:00 CEST. All six Poles are pretty strong in the 3on3 format, but DRGN has much more experience at a high level than SMS does. Will Uncle's team be able to pull it off?



At 20:00 CEST, Inner-Sense and WINNERMANS will play. jiN and co are the underdogs in their group, so they will be wanting to win this one 4-0 for a safer ride to the tournament stage of the cup. Hing, jupik, and lEku won't make it easy for them though!



Finally, it's TURBOAPINAT vs pudi! This match will be played on Monday at 19:00 CEST, kicking off turbot's three-game marathon. With Swanidius and the others performing quite well recently and even defeating phase in the SummerCup last week, does pudi have what it takes to bring them down?
