Cause we have added some new maps, the summer config will not work for the upcoming IPS qualifier cups. We have now released a beta config for the upcoming season with some smaller changes and additions for the new maps.

The changes
- Frostbite with a 25 seconds spawntime for the attacking team
- Added Warbell with 30 seconds spawn for allied and 15 seconds for axis
- Added SW Fueldump B3 with a timelimit of 15 minutes

Netsettings, Helmetprotection and other things are still untouched. Every qualifier match will be played with this config!

In the latest newspost written on the ESL page, you can find all the details of the upcoming ESL International Premiership Qualifier Cups of ET for Europe. Our aim was to get 16 teams to sign up for the cup. After closing the signups, we have collected 21 teams and we have thought about the system to give you as many chances to compete as possible.

The ESL international IPS Qualifiers will be the next big event coming up with some hot ET Action! For the national sections of the ESL, Germany and the Czech Republic, the qualifiers are on their way. Only 4 days left to signup for the international Cup to participate in the upcoming ESL International Premiership Series for Enemy Terriotry to fight for 1.500€ Prizemoney.



We have already some active clans signed up for the international qualifier:

The 16 spots are already filled, and thats the reason why this post was made: We will possibly expand the size of the cup to 24 or 32 teams, which is based on the interest of the community.

So if you think you have the potential to play on a high level and if you want to participate for money, join up.

At the moment, we have 4 Spots saved as prize for participating in this cup and to play in the upcoming ESL IPS season, but since this is not realy much for more then 16 teams, we can increase the amount of spots to 8. which makes it even more serious for the clans to play this qualifiers and to take their chance to participate.

We`re going to see an hour of ET action between two "Eastern Block" teams - t34 and underscore, both of EuroCup skill and in addition to that, they`ll present a new map which has received some great responses by the community already, and that's Warbell. It`s surely going to be quite interesting to see what this map is like in 6on6.

The summer series is still in progress but this does not stop us from announcing the third official ESL Qualifier Cup to compete in the Falls International Premiership Series. Get your team ready and take one of the 16 slots in the upcoming cup for yourself.

The international IPS Qualifier will be played in a single elimination bracket. The teams can signup until 11.08.2006.

Who is going to choose the 16 Teams
The 16 teams will be chosen by their latest stability and achievements in the last ESL cups and in other leagues. Every clan can prove itself by playing the cups running in the next days and weeks.

Maps
The iTGs dutch host stewie, ETTV king arni and Crossfires Nellie will support us in selecting the 7th map of the cup.
It will be totally new or a common classic map: Warbell, SW Fueldump or Snatch2. In addition to one of these maps, we have the following maps in our pool:
Adlernest, Braundorf, Frostbite, SW Goldrush TE, Würzburg Radar, Supply Depot 2.

With being since the start of ET now, Team Helix is one of the biggest names nowadays and have ever been played with a great performance during the cups.
With former players of cZar and uQ Gaming, the new lineup will try to compete in the upcoming ESL Cups and in the next Clanbase season and the following players will hopefully keep up the flag of Team Helix.

There are several reasons why we formed this team, but I think the main one is that we know eachother pretty well. Me, senti and zeto know eachother from uQ and I also know kevin and lioco from cZar. Murda on the other hand never played in the same team as one of us guys, but most of us know him for a while already. We'll be playing in most of the cups ladders and we hope to get some good results.

After 4 Weeks of hot 3on3 action in ET, the groupstage is finished and its now going onto the playoffs. Out of the 64 teams signed up and played, 32 qualified for the next stage and we are going to present you the final matches in the upcoming weeks to finish your summer and to be sure, its hot next to you.

Make sure you and your team is prepared for the upcoming matchweek, starting this Monday. After the groupstage, the chance to lose a match, has gone and from now on, a lose will be the end for your team in the cup. Be sure you have prepared for the single elemination bracket comming up.
Your first match will be shown on the esl page under `Open matches` and you can challenge your opponent in the time from 24.07.2006 till 30.07.2006. The second round will start on 31.07.2006.

The international topclan of zeroPoint! Gaming, already known in Day of Defeat, HALO and in the past already with Call of Duty, made some great additions to their organisation.

zP! released their new Enemy Territory and Call of Duty 2 teams some seconds ago.

The new Enemy Territory team around the captain rbnt will be a part of the upcoming season including top names in their roster, he had the following to say:

The team is very pleased with joining up with an organisation such as zeroPoint. Not only does zP offer us the support we need to reach our goals such as contending at the Xf-LAN, but this step will also mean a huge performance boost for our team. Our first few weeks have gone buy quietly, as we have not been able to practice much due to vacation time, but this is certainly going to change. We will be praccing as much as possible to reach the level worthy of the zeroPoint brand, also known as the top.

Calle `APaX` Stern, who is part of the zeroPoint management team, released a statement, why they have picked up their first Enemy Territory Squad:

Since the ClanBase EuroCups were announced we have had an eye on the European Enemy Territory scene and together in the management we have discussed the possible addition of a Enemy Territory team to the zeroPoint! Gaming organization.
