The etpub team was proud to release the new version of their mod, 0.7.1. Weither you are a die hard pub player or a competition player taking a day off, there has to be some feature that you like...

Some new features worth mentioning:
- Updated player rating models
- You can configure your server to submit your players' stats to the ETPub global stats server
- Much improved Active Team Balance (ATB)
- Private messges to players on your team only (/mt command)
- Added ability to post certain events (chat, log entries, etc...) to a web page
- Added a tactics mode (see docs for g_tactics cvar)
- Implemented an improved flood protection replacement
- Customizable ! commands
- Improved censor filter
- Added mapvoting - Players vote for the next map

Along with a large number of bug fixes and other features.

Between all the great newsposts about the Xfire LAN and Quakecon I am going to post an announcement about the new Enemy Territory team of #Qlasics. It has been a small month since the last Enemy Territory team joined the multigaming clan, but that team had problems and fell quite fast (Not within two weeks however). The team in question is called Team ANAL.

Here is a statement from Qlasics manager Sainted:
A few days ago #Qlasics was contacted by Team ANAL about joining #Qlasics as new Enemy Territory team after our prevorious team collapsed a small week ago. After reviewing the clan I was impressed by the players, most have at least some OC Premier experience, three players from national teams and some EuroCup qualifying players as well. Despite of the funny name I think this team has a great future ahead and #Qlasics is delighted to welcome them into our organisation.

And this is the statement from team captain diO:
We want to get the top positions of the european scene, with this roster we can achieve that but we need to practise and improve a lot. We are going for the EuroCup next year, like every other skilled clan ofcourse. We are training a lot now and we are starting to play on high level, with not just skill but also a lot of experience to support us achieve our goals. We hope joining #Qlasics will be a big step in reaching the top.

Qlasics have picked themselves up a new squad, Manager Sainted had this to say:

As a manager of #Qlasics my task is to find the best teams to compete under our nametag. Slowly we are getting more potentially great squads under our name, like our CSS and CoD2 squads. We recently announced our newest sponsor Hyperized, which will sponsor the clan with game servers for a few of our squads, along with a lot of other support.
Our latest addition in squads, is our new Enemy Territory team. We basically contacted this team to fill in the gap of our current ET team, which is disbanding after the OC. Previously known as Overboost.ET. Oh yes, they are pretty new, but I feel this team has a large chance to become a major team in the upcoming months. With players from well known clans like eSrael and insanity, I think this team will get pretty far, if they can survive the Enemy Territory two weeks pressure.
