E-Series Maximus has ended and Anexis eSports have taken top spot pipping TCM in the grand final. Replika managed to take third place after beating Phantasmagoria in a 3rd place game.

This CoD4 LAN is the third event to come from organisers Adroits who ran an LAN earlier this year which featured Enemy Territory. Big things are on the horizon for the company with no doubt future LAN events being planned, unfortunately Adroits manager Seanza is unavailable to comment just yet, but maybe something to come soon

[bOriginal News Item[/b]]For anyone keeping track of the Call of Duty 4 scene you will know that this weekend E-Series Maximus is already underway. The event is the old E-Series event which was originally a 6 team event but this time around has expanded to a 16 team tournament with the help of Adroits.

Adroits as some of you will remember organised the successful SAGE event which had both Enemy Territory and Call of Duty 4. Since then Seanza, who runs Adroits, has organised and run the CoD4 Masters Event back in August as well as the tournament this weekend.

The JeeSports ET Qualification continues over the next three months in preparation for the main tournament, penciled in for mid February, where four teams will battle it out for €120 top prize. There were some delays in qualification process as some admins hit busy times in real life, please forgive us! ;)

A few days ago it was announced on the new TZ-AC website that SLAC would now be known as TZAC! As many have heard about this and perhaps wondered what this would mean for the Anti Cheat hopefully this will answer a few of your questions, after contacting chaplja he assured me that nothing would change for ET and we will still be part of the new TZAC plans. A new executable will hopefully be available very soon updating to the new name and branding as well as no doubt some other small updates. The new name itself derives from the developer, better known as chaplja, real name initials.

Sign ups are now closed, we have had a total of 10 sign ups but unfortunately some teams have decided to drop out due to lack of interest as well as some other reasons. After contacting some of the teams in the remaining 6, it was made clear the the event itself would not be possible and has therefore been called off.

With sign ups due to close in just over a weeks time, it is time for the ET community to stand up and be counted as the call for more LAN events in the past 6 months has been met with a poor showing in the first ET ONLY LAN event since ... not even twidi can remember. Currently there have only seven sign ups of a possible twelve, although there are a handful of teams still deliberating on wither to come or not - Time is running out.

Heatwave Challenge groups have been drawn for both tournaments after all qualification games were played out. Please note that games must be played on the schedule at the bottom of the news post.

As some of you may have heard, Nevo manager Felix took the decision to shutdown Next Evolution. It will only be reopened by IMaG as Felix has decided enough is enough and has left the organisation after long period of inactivity from IMaG and unpaid bills to managers and teams.

The Heatwave Challenge sign ups are now closed after receiving 32 teams who wish to compete in the tournament. The process for qualifying has slightly changed as initially their would be 4 teams invited now there will simply be a qualification round between the 32 teams.
