The Sapphire Movie Contest at TEK9 has now been concluded, all the votes have been counted up by the community and all the panelists have had their say and the top 5 prize winners have been announced, they are as follows:

As many of you know a handful of ET movies were entered into the competition, in which there were over 100 entries! One ET movie got into the top 20, which was "Woody and Nothing More" by requem

After various reasons for delays, not scheduling games and such the Grand Final of RtCW-Cup NC I is to take place tonight at roughly 21:30/22CET - The two top seeds made it all the way to the final in what should be a great encounter between some of the best players currently playing RtCW, lets take a look at the main players of each team and how they got to the final:



Both teams boast a nice mix of experience and ambition, with a few players playing since 2003 or earlier which should lead to a good game! If you want to watch a WTV game at all, it would be a good idea to watch this one - as this may well be the last top 1.4 match.

How does WTV work? on WTV you log on to the a special server where you will watch a 'camera mans' point of view, someone who is logged in to fly around the server and POV's to hopefully give you the best view of the game. So you cannot spectate who you want when you want - but you will be watching the same thing that everyone else is - which has always added to the atmosphere of even the most boring games!

Enemy Territory has been represented in the latest Tek9 movie competition, with no less than four entries. The movies are in real need of your votes - with Call of Duty movies having the best chance of winning, due to Tek9 being a CoD4 community, ET movies will need everyone helping out to stand any chance of being placed well, the general feeling is they will be marked down by most non ET players!

Most people feel that requem's production of "Woody and nothing more" is the pick of the bunch, giving us a nice mix of cams and editing as well as smooth clear frag scenes - below you can view the movie.

The Semi Finals for Nations Cup I are have been completed - with Germany taking on Netherlands in the first of the two games and United Kingdom coming up against Hungary in the second game it would always be a tight contest - The playoffs are single elimination so the winners would steam straight into the Grand Final and the losers would go into a 3rd place Playoff to see who finished on the podium.

Netherlands vs. Germany
Maps were NL: Beach, DE: Frostbite. A tense game for both teams, Team NL were without team captain mAno and it was upto rockit pwner 2d to lead the troops into battle - the game was all over the place on frostibte with both coming out with a round while on beach the early damage had been done by Netherlands early, giving Germany a continuous uphill struggle. Although Project Phoenix is still a few weeks away from our official launch, we will still be contacting MGC's in the mean time and if the right squad is available for the right MGC we hope we can help bring some more well known teams into Enemy Territory.

Today we are releasing a basic team application template to help you, or us, approaching MGC's for support - this is only a BETA release and we hope to have a more enhanced one once the website launches - Please read through and feel free to edit / change anything as you please - personalised formatting is recomended purely to give a less generic look. We are also working other aspects for our website and to help current MGC's with teams - future squads and current teams will need newswriters / managers to produce content for their webpages which in hand will help squads keep their support and promote ET to other scenes and MGC's who dont currently have a ET squad. Any members community who may be interested in news writing for top teams should contact any member of the Project Phoenix team.

The group stage is now over and the teams going into the single elimination semi finals are now known, making it out of group A in first place are United Kingdom and in second place Germany the other two teams making it into the semis are Netherlands who finished first and Hungary who finished second in group B. The semi final games are then as follows:



This game should proove to be a tough contest with both teams having some great experience in their midst. United Kingdom are the seeded team in this game due to finishing first in their group and Hungary should not be underated though, whichever team brings their A game has the best chance of winning.

We have reached the second round of group games and there are three games up tonight where some teams need points to have a good chance to stay in the cup. Here are the games played and predictions from Team UK captain dusty:

First up and the featured cam game tonight is Germany vs. Belgium - in a must win game for the Belgians to stand a good chance of going through to the playoffs, the pressure is on syL and team captain edge to pull their team through. Standing in their way though are phate and the rest of the active German lineup - this should be a top game!

This German team is a well oiled tactical machine, but even they will struggle in trying to get those all important documents back off syL as he runs around each map seven times before transmitting. With all things considered, Belgium will win simply because Mouly rocks and they have the aim. Germany have the lotto though which will make it a fantastic spectacle, a real feast for the eyes.

After the showmatches the groups for RtCW NC I were drawn, and the first set of games were known, these first set of games were played out over the last two weeks and they were:



The groups were already known to be quite tight and the results over the next 4-6 weeks should show this and it is anyones guess who will qualify into the playoffs.

Last week the NC I groups were drawn, with the UK and team NL being in the top seed Poule - Finland, Belgium, Hungary and Germany being in the mid seed poule and Italy and Estonia being in the lower seed poule. With the help of fro on IRC these were the groups drawn:



The groups are very tight and with the top two teams of each group going through to the Single Elimination playoffs any team has a chance to come out on top come the Grand Final.

After a small break for the World Cup, the RtCW NC draws closer as the votes for the captains are added up to see who will lead their Nations onto the battlefield. Also on the agenda before the cup properly kicks off will be a few showmatches just to make sure every nation is awake.

The first showmatch is tonight at 21CET and it sees Germany take on Italy - anyone managing to tune in we hope you enjoy the show!
