As Team Canada Manager (Juno), I now take great pride in introducing this years Nations Cup Team Canada. For those of you with good memories, last year, Canada did better than expected earning a spot in the playoffs. Despite loosing in the playoffs to the United Kingdom, great fun was had by all. Last years team was a throw together last minute type of team essentially where known Canadians were grabbed out of IRC to join the roster. Too much emphasize was put on pure aiming abilities, and not team oriented game play. The following players will be representing Team Canada this year at the ET Nations Cup.

Clanbase Enemy Territory Nations Cup IX is just around the corner and it is time for the defending champions - Estonia to announce its roster.

Enemy Territory Nations Cup VIII was a great success for the nation and the following summer saw 11! Estonian players travel to USA to compete at Quakecon 2005 Enemy Territory tournament. It was undoubtedly the season of Estonia in Enemy Territory. To ensure that the Estonian tricolor will once more flaunt at the end of the clash of nations a team was put together that does not only consist of individuals with spectacular skills, but of players who have a long history of playing together for the pride of the nation.

The team has set a goal to achieve what only Finland has achieved so far in the history of Enemy Territory Nations Cups - win two consecutive titles. IDKFA the two weeks clan that never was, take on uQ on Thursday night and can harbour realistic hopes of taking something away from this match!

Both teams progressed through their group, and uQ dismantled a misfiring idle team who were a shadow of the team that duelled with the flying fins for gold last season. On the other side, the team that hadnt played for two weeks wArning bowed out of ET against IDKFA. So on Thursday night these will do battle!

Prediction:
Eurocup for me is a three horse race, uQ have the skill, but their dedication to a game they've been playing for so long needs to stay on top for the final hurdle, otherwise either 141 or IDKFA can take the gold away from them, the same problem they faced last year!
IDKFA go into this knowing that a strong performance from them could see them take this game, they contributed alongside uQ to the scandinavian allstar team and will look to build on a successful season, and hopefully change name to something I can remember.
Reports from both camps suggest that they're equally fired up for this game, so I really think we're in for a classic!

Of course, Ukraine will also participate in the ClanBase NationsCup IX. It will be the fourth season for the country from Eastern Europe. This time there were many changes in the lineup, here it is:

Statement:
Protector will lead the Ukrainian national team one more time and the lineup is already decided. Because many players who played for Ukraine in previous seasons have quit ET we needed to change a lot. D.Devil is in the national team for some time, while he just recently started playing ET again. For most players in this lineup it's the first NationsCup, but we are optimistic that they'll do well. They are experienced and motivated players and we will try to practise as much as possible. We think that these players are the best Ukraine has to offer.
