I sit up in my chair, back pressed hard against the cushion. I place my headset firmly on my head. There is a fresh, warm coffee on my desk. I straighten my arms, move my keyboard slightly to the side, and wipe my mouse pad with my hand: every gamer has his pre-game ritual. These can vary from washing your hands, to a routine that you feel that has become a habit. Regardless, the facts remain the same, I am ready to frag. A practice session, or maybe even an official. Clanbase or ESL, BFB? They're all the same.
Then the question hits me, I've pressed my F3, I'm waiting on others. Probably
Lightning, or
Meez. The question hits me hard, and forces me to zone out of what is on my screen. Where did this all start? When did I become a gamer to this extreme?
These are questions we should all ask ourselves, and I would love you to share you stories.
Nostalgia, back to 2002. I'm at a friend's house, we've been to the circus, and I've gone back to his to play some games I am young, then. He hasn't shut up about this one game all night: 'Return To Castle Wolfenstien', he calls it. I've never heard of this game, its on a computer. I've never played games much on computers, apart from Red Alert. We still had dial-up. I am a Play-station 1 man, from Grandia to Fifa. We enter his dad's office, there are Dell monitors, Dell keyboards. I count three. He grabs me a chair from further down the desk, and logs me, then loads up this game, and then does the same for himself.. A console opens up, it scrolls. Then I see now well recognized RTCW game Menu. We are too young to know about IP address, he calls out the server names, I see if my master server has picked it up yet. We play until late, as late as we can. Beach room defenses. My how they were fun. 30 of us in the doc room. I think I had more ammo given to me there than I have in my whole ET 'career' tallied up.
Fast forward till 2004. I get a phone call to my house phone. I answer with a 'Hello'. It's unusual for me to get phone calls. I am still young. The same friend replies 'Hey! New Wolfenstien is out!' He means ET, I proceed to go round to his house later, where is father shows me this new wonderful game. Siwa Oasis it was, original. He picked the mortar and tried to figure it out, then burnt off two copies, which I played at his house for the entirety of the weekend. I then got my own computer, I wanted to play this game more! It was incredible! I kept playing.
The addition of 'Xp Save' servers and different modifications made for the game, such as 'Jaymod' only made it more addictive and appealing. I don't remember the years now, but I played lots. Publics only, of course. But you soon become a regular at different servers, have small conversations with different people, and so on. I eventually joined a clan that probably still exists: =GK=, standing for Genesis Knights. Turns out the community was small even back then, and friends now such as
Mayni was once in the same team. I was still young, immature, and naïve. These sort of things mattered! I was in an honorable clan. Soon I was on a chat program called 'Xfire'. This was in between playing Runescape, and ignoring homework. After this period I joined a team called NMA, No Mans Army, they were probably the days that I was most obsessed with ET. My main bros here were
Mindgame and
Cloud. I met Mindgame, but never got round to meeting Cloud as of yet.
Fast forward a few more years, and I've discovered the wonderful worlds of ETPro. It must have been 2007 now. I registered on this website called Crossfire.nu, a website that would be come my soft-core version of Reddit, all the content, just lacking the input of alternative minds. I am now playing with
Rebelli and
Elfi in Net: clan, again this would harbor friends of the future, such as
Pansy. Me and 'the boys' would play a lot, particularly over the summer holidays, and we became good E-friends. Unfortunately, I lost contact with both. But have regained contact with
Rebelli over the last year and half or so, and he even came to stay at mine in March. Soon we are playing 3on3s lots, low+ is a good way to play, and my God is it a challenge! We get toyed with by skill-bashing opponents. The foolish team players, team play is everything. How I like to do that to my opponents now.
You're a fanboy now, you start watching fragmovies and wondering about these top players. Do they truly exist? Do they really destroy opponents the way you see in the fragmovies? Esrael's movie and Raziel's were the one that bring back the most to me, regardless of how bad they look to me now. I switch configs, we all did.
It kind of goes blank here, I stopped playing with these people, as Net: later died. Shortly after I found myself in my home for many years, and one that I suppose is well known here on crossfire
skk!, which I must say was one of the funniest times I've ever had on the Internet. Including the first hide-and-seek games, as well as the hilarity of different videos with people like
Noodle and
Owzo,
Arcade we found ourselves entertained for hours on end. Videos? The main one that comes to mind is bum-chase. We used to mix a lot. A hell of a lot. We all did it, back then. But things change. The group then welcomed new funny, well natured people such as
perfo and
wiadro, and some of the group I became good friends with.
skk! continues to grow now. I wouldn't know too much, though. I am hardly ever with such gentlemen anymore. And I do miss the funny times, but we've grown apart, and that is something I cannot change.
Soon, it is March 2010 and I attend my first LAN, it is CIC7 with EnLANced, and I am very excited and have a splendid time and cannot wait for the next one. I meet great people, too many names to list. After the event I try a new team with people like
Overboost and
Syk, which doesn't work out like we had intended. After a small inactive period, in which I get my first job and start socializing much more. I soon find myself playing for enhanced again after a number of failed projects, and somehow playing for IDK in EC. Then I'm back with Enhanced the next LAN, Sage LAN. A few days after this event and some time in
The Netherlands, I return back to my city,
Manchester to fly out again only 4 days later to travel around Europe for 28 days with friends. I would come back changed beyond belief, and my passion for gaming nearly out, it's been a long road and I've met some amazing people, and I'm certainly glad I did it.
So where did it all start for you?
Then the question hits me, I've pressed my F3, I'm waiting on others. Probably

ALMIGHTY 2010 Squad were enjoying eLemenT hide&seek on a quiet day in June. Whilst playing radar, me, Jinosta, tyyrd, miXer, hste, garin and raskL stumbled upon FumBall! He seemed like a nice chap so Jinosta invited him our vent! Since that encounter we gave him a home with the ALMIGHTY family, finally he has taken the step all ALMIGHTY children will take, by forming his own clan: Supski.

Excellent read, I enjoyed it :)
In the spring of 2006 I discovered crossfire and it helped me majorly evolving into the idiot I am today.
I still wonder sometimes how my life would've turned out if I never met DiazZ or if he said no.
It will include :
- How
- How I met my bestest french gayming friend
-
- Creation of professional hardcore addicted gayming team
- My first shoutcasts
first teams for me were GF and ri$k, but the first "real" one somehow was
Best guy i met @ ET... well
good read tho

Woa, what a hell of a jaymod 1337 nickname :D
I remember my first reaction when i got the mouse in my hand: "Let's take this big gun (MG 42) and kill them all!" :))))))
Unfortunately, I didn't have any decent computer at home and I had to wait some years that made me forget about this game.
When I finally was able to play it again, i used to spend long hours on publics, playing like a dickhead and being proud of myself when I rarely killed someone with a random grenade.
Regrettably my father wasn't as close as i was with this game and, thanks God, he removed the game from the computer.
I had to wait until Christmas 2008 to get my own computer and be back in the game..
In 2006 I saw someone posting the downloadlink to ET in a browsergame chatbox I was playing with a couple rl friends and he said something like "ET is a new game, its better than this shit and boring browsergame, try it out!" so I downloaded it and started to play it a bit.
In 2007 I already played on a few servers and had my favorites to play on and was looking for guys to play with me so I "forced" my rl mates
Later I was in my first clan, I remember how we even practiced where spawnkilling is allowed and where its not :D. Unfortunately I left the clan after a few weeks...
Then there were some pauses where I kinda stopped playing that much and rather played other games.
However, in 2008 me and [fl ag=de] SpLiT joined a german jaymod clan called "sF - Skill Fighters" and we were like 5 or 6 guys in total. We began talking to eachother on ts or skype and played on our favorite server
After some time in this clan, I heard something about etpro and arranged games in a 6v6 style, a clan we knew asked us on our bulletin board if we are interested to play some games on jaymod and later etpro/2.6b with them. We started playing 5v5 or 6v6 intern matches with them and I think the time on jaymod with my old clan and this were my best times in ET...
However, later I got to crossfire.nu, registered and started looking for a team.
I played in this team for like 2-3 months and then we stopped playing, because one of us got busted. Unfortunately I also tried out how to get better, watched many many fragmovies and learned something about configs etc, but also about the cheats.
Not much later I got busted for "cheating on a public server" and I stopped playing ET and switched to WoW. After the 6 months of being banned of playing, I registered again and started playing ET again, got a new team and met new guys, but it was not the same as before, at least for me. Later I started playing WoW with rl mates again, started playing LoL and pretty much both of them were pretty boring after some time, so I started playing ET again and I thought it was even worse, but I kept playing with some friendly guys again and met new ppl...
e: this text :o
was splatterladder's #1 on that server somewhen in 2008
I'm actually ban there, cba to unban myself
2003/2004:
- playing it for the first time at LAN at a friend's place
- forming my first clan with rl-friends ([GBL] = German Bloodlaus)
- recruited 2 guys from public, renamed the clan to sA| (= silent Assasins) to sound more serious
- joined ESL
- somehow got picked up by MGC uE (= ultimate eSports), they gave us 3 servers and all that kind of stuff, was amazing!
- praced a lot, kicked a few of the old members, took in new ones from other German teams (such as BoneZ from Westwall Soldaten!)
- got more serious again and eventually made it to top10 in Germany
- got picked up by a clan called pX (paradoX eSports), first time a clan didn't keep their promises!
- went on to 141 after their old team around jazz, tekkslash and so on left for plan-B
- EC top3 etc. followed shortly after reforming the team again (taking in willstar, mirro, anubis etc.)
2005:
- leaving 141 for j52, reforming team (picking up senji, pk, mike)
- playing all sorts of high profile cups and leagues, probably top 5 (maybe even 3 around that time)
- qualified for Qcon2005, j52 couldn't send us, went to gods.inc with the promise to sponsor us
- that didn't work out either so we did not go after all (top 3 around that time)
- long time team disbanded :-( (<3 you guys)
- forming a new Marauders team with Kajab, diego, Sengo, senji, mike, doktor
- didn't work out at all somehow, got pretty much raged by weaker teams
- idle was struggeling with players back then, so I got asked to join
- sneaked in senji as well :-D
2006:
- playing a little with idle
- winning Quakecon2006 and a couple of other LANs and cups
2007:
- joining Dignitas
- winning SHG Open
- pretty much struggeling after this to get back into old shape
2008:
- new lineups, still struggeling
2008/2009:
- joining mamut
- struggeling a little with the real old lineup
- changed a little, won CC6
Quit.
Few random comebacks, nothing real serious anymore. Too shit and too little time to compete now.
Inbetween those years some games for Team Germany and Europe.
(Might have confused some years and events, my accurate list got deleted at the Dignitas page :-<)
Edit: Might add some moments later that still make me smile thinking of them :-))
think it was 'weil die soße nicht schmeckt' :)
oooaaa just remembered this when you mentioned uE BoneZ ;P
e:
that too with paradox!
i dont care anymore now ofcorse, but the rumours back then said one of the dignitas guys did it..lolz..
a huge scrap along the entire side of our rental car..hahaha..
do you remember it?
Where did it happen then, on the SHG parking lot or at the hostel? No idea where you guys stayed, so don't even know if your car was parked nearby.
I was young, i had time and there was so much to explore on ET that it simply kept me playing.
Though in the beginning i was just on my very first PC and my mummy tried to restrict it for me since she kinda knew i was gonna sit and play all day long if i could :d
But things changed pretty soon and i fought out some more houirs of daily playtime :P
Well i kinda got into clanmatches when meeting guys from
I gave it a shot and here i was at the team that changed the game for me forever:
This team was my first real "serious" team and we were discussing about tactics, frequently practicing and playing officials together. We were not too good but we had our fun and enjoyed playing with each other. On a side effect we got to know each other in reallife since jozz and Ludviech frequently kept organizing meetings such as LANs or WinterBBQs on the Farm of
After like 2 years times did change and most of the cdap guys went inactive but still the friendship stayed alive (cdap meetings are still held today, though not too often anymore).
I was still proudly wearing my cdap tag (those were the times when
Following my own story, i got picked up by a nice bunch of Austrians called
Now my ET is more or less over. I mainly play LoL but i m also too busy on my studies to raise the same amount of playtime as before. So i mainly just play one or 2 games a day and thats it for me.
Btw i didnt include small 2weeks shitteams in that text such as

I remember that
Played 2.55 a lot in 2003/2004. Usually playing on |CEB| server with
Went on to 2.6 around 2005. Trickjumped a lot for about 2/3 years. Made my first map xtremetricks_b1
Eventually went on to play more regular game. Registered here on 2007. Created c2_missile in 2008(?). Played competitively until April 2011. Haven't played since then.
After that, no serious gaming, just mixes here and there, most noteworthy feats being a second place finish in last BeNeLux Cup with team-Utrecht and mixing it up with the Undutchables, the most non-Dutch bunch around (black zLoL).
And what the hell is the first part of your reply about? :/
Yeah, not sure if you could gather as much from what I wrote, he introduced me to the game and played alongside me for a while, until I was in need of an alias and he willingly let me use his.
Anyway.. in the end of 2003 we moved to a new house with my family and got access to internet! I didn't play ET for some time, neither saw my friend. it was all runescape and football.
I think it was ~~ january 2004 when I had to stop football since my knee wouldn't let me continue, also my richest runescape account got scammed. What would I do? ok I gave another chance to ET, I asked my friend if I could join their clan called SVV. There was a clantest on public and I really nailed it, got in! I was in the clan for like 2 weeks. I left because one night they didn't let me play. they had recruited a new better player from public earlier. I started my own clan called CFS, I'm still in touch with couple of the players. Kentsu, Dart, Exe and moribu!
I kept playing lots of 3on3's with kentsu, dart and exe and got better and better. Dart was the first player to make a proper cfg for me. One day we played against a clan called Mutilation, never heard of them but they seemed like cool guys from mauritius. They won us with 200 ping, actually they had some european players too... after the game I talked with their leader madscientist and soon me and kentsu joined them! Madscientist learnt a lot of stuff to me, surprisinly they didn't use ventrilo/ts though. I came a proner and a lowsenser, I started to be the top fragger of efterlyst (public)!
2005 MU started to be pretty inactive so I joined eC4, with dio, ans.. etc. It was pretty funny to play since I was really bad in english and they put me to spots where I had to talk a lot. After playing with them I got a lot better in english! we played OC premier and got into playoffs! anyway our clan died before the match vs negative-image, who won the whole tournament!
After that I played in some lowerskilled finnish clans till 2006 when I joined STFU. They had to kick me since I lagged a lot! Elite was next, and I have to say that I really liked playing there! I pretty much left elite when I got asked to merc for noll8 to eurocup match! also played a lot of mixs with ubermix and dickheads during 2006, got to know a lot of top players that way! yeah and totally forgot to mention MITÄ AJAN. it was a 3on3 team, which won oc premier.. me kentsu perfo and exe!
2007 joined incomplete and almost won TLR in eurocup offi. Then one night I was just sitting in IRC, bored when I saw dav1d searching for a merc. I pmmed him but he didn't answer for like 10 mins untill he said "ok come!" So I was mercing for TLR. After the game they asked If I wanted to join them for cdc3, I was 15 years old and supposed to play rifle first, but then Xylos joined and they put me as a medic. :(
learned a thing or two there and after that played with like every top team there were, dignitas, rockit, f5 just to name a few! my pc broke up like 1 year ago and since then have only played for fun!
oh.. long story, but could be even longer!
Anyway I met a lot of nice people from ET and I will never stop playing it! <3
That first year of innocent pub play still holds my favorite memories of ET. Getting around with nothing more than a different crosshair to default, crawling through the long grass on radar "undetected" and hiding in the steam on secret weapon, getting goomba kills on Fueldump, good times.
In 2006 Optus decided to shut down its game servers so most of us moved over to GamArena (hosted by Telstra, the only other major aussie telco provider at the time). I still remember some massive thread about how the "Optus noobs" could integrate safely into the GA community.
Early memories on GA servers included getting tk'd by a pro rager called McSpud for ammo and creating my first animated gif signature of rifle nading someone across the map on battery ("think you're out of range?" something lame like that haha). I still recall the adrenalin rush I got sneaking through to plant on battery when allies had been getting spawn raped for 20+ minutes and winning the map, thinking I was awesome haha.
Then around mid 2006 the then captain of ubik Muffin, posted a thread on the GA forums looking for some extra players. I wasn't really interested at first but then lots of people replied saying how nice a bunch of guys they were so that helped me change my mind.
My application to ubik included important info such as how much XP I averaged on the 8 map campaign server, I really had no clue! After the first couple of games vs TOG (The Older Gamers) and some other fun, "old fart" teams, Muffin needed to take a break to study for some IT techo certifications and asked someone to take over the reigns. I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring and everyone seemed with it too.
I'd probably say there were two games that got me basically really into ET. One game being the GA Season 6 semi-final between Infernal Chaos and YoY on Beach and the second game being ubik vs Warholic on Braundorf where Korean superstar Bui aka -_-v completely destroyed us (featured in their movie by Quaky). I think we practiced and played Braundorf non-stop after that match until we got half decent at it.
I've enjoyed playing with many players in ubik but that was probably my favourite line-up mostly because we had so much fun coming up with random strats. The main line-up included GiT, Bob, Hoolio, RoyBatty, Yubby and myself. GiT and Bob being ex-YoY legends they were also pro trick jumpers and painfully taught me how to strafe jump (I still can't strafe jump properly!).
They are the most nostalgic times for my time spent playing ET. I have only played for one other team apart from ubik, that being Sublime PC Gear in 2007/8 where we tried to form a "super team" with the "best of the rest" in the Australian ET community to try and de-throne the Wood ducks super team (iceman34, riCo, haste and co). We came closest on our first attempt but we pretty much got rolled the second time around and decided disband. I went back to ubik and have since helped to form the Cybergamer ladder and prize leagues after GameArena GameOps (Admins) lost interest in the game.
Never was into the competitive scene untill NFP| fennex recruited me off a pub for shooting 50 acc and killing stuff ;D (he had low standards I recon)
These were the glory days for me, we were rather serious about this game, yet we still had so much fun and tried to meet eachother irl.
Met Witje on a pub, started playing with him and chizz. Joined nkNn, played together because we loved to not because we were the best team around, despite that still did good at lan and got to EC.
Meanwhile I started playing with bF all the time, never could play active with them but they could always count on me. At first didn't get along with AL1 at all, but I'm glad that turned around after I got to know him better. Played with ictus (mousecon) for a few months, but I had something with my eye which basically fucked them over in EC (we had been winning alot of games) :/
Now most of bF moved on (army and LoL), I still play ET and LoL occasionally. Played OC with iNmotion because jason and boss are very manly. Had to forfeit the forced upper bracket game after the first map because our 6th lagged out and now they lost the next forced game without me, so looks like we're out. Don't know yet what I'll do, prolly keep playing ET on occasion because of the awesome ppl at #bigbeats and #inmotion.
Unlike you, I sort of regret spending alot of time on gaming. When I got sick and had a few surgeries in a row, I played alot of games while sitting inside. I'm pretty sure I could have avoided redoing those years at uni if I just really tried and used all my spare time between those periods to study. But I don't regret meeting and getting to know all these awesome people.
Altho i mainly played call of duty back then i was also aware of rtcw, so when i didn't play cod, i played on rtcw public servers. das_boot & assault were the top maps back then on a 40+ player server :P I was actually introduced to rtcw by my cousin, who had bought rtcw in
When ET came out, i didn't switch over too fast and still kept playing on public servers until i found out that my classmate is playing ET. Now i started quitting cod series and started playing ET a lot more together with my classmate.(even a girl from our class played ET :D ) Found technolust public servers rather fast and oddly enough i didn't play on any other until the servers went down. Met some cool guys there(Beowulf, Astral, Bury, The*...list goes on but can't rememeber them all). Coincidentally after a while Beowulf asked me and my classmate if we would like to join their clan, named |2|. Mainly we just enjoyed pubbing together while on teamspeak and played an odd clanwar here and there. After technolust servers went down, |2| sort of "folded" :(
I had met
Spent some time on the server with EYJohn, who then decided to bring me into the <LSS> public clan. Eventually the <LSS> public server went pretty big in the 2.55 scene and started meeting a lot of new faces there. At one point we must of had 50+ members in the team, so when we werent owning on the server, we spammed our forum :D I still remember the "war reports" we had on the forum that analysed all the games we played :D Once the
One of the highlights was when i met
Back then i never thought <LSS> could fold but when it finally did, we went through a series of clan changes(mainly the name changed, members remained same :D) which lead us forming a team named
Went through a rough patch, joining multiple teams but finally reached 2.6 myself. Played for
Since eTcC sort of split up we had to look for yet another team to play with. This is where #this.is.madness was created. me, ruoska and starzi managed to recruit 3 seemingly normal players, who all ended up being cheaters in about a month time :DDD
Finally reached the era of iNmotion with legendary members such as
tl;dr version
Though i've spent countless hours on this game and possibly could of made better moves towards my education/work, i still don't regret the time i've spent here with my e-friends.
After that i went to the german oldschool clan

Confo Jesus of ET
Moved on to ET when it came out and joined W!ngs with razz (he used to have this high pitch voiced and we bullied him into singing songs on comms), mindless and tropic, etc. Think we played summmercup first division or smthing, my first competition.
Moved on to w@co / MAZZ where some noobs like zeto, mesqi,mAus, ksr etc also played from time to time. Mostly playing CB 6vs6 eu and benelux ladder.
Moved onto FDNL, think we ended 2 or 3 in 2nd div vs Bullvox heartbreakers.
Quit ET for a year
Started TAG with Light, Hope, Satz and me. won oc premier. some more lans and EC's with TAG, then I quitted again. only playing public atmm
And people say it's just a game...
so my friends invited me to explain the maps to me. especially my buddy
after some months of playing pub - especially on the
After the majority of the
After this i continued evolving my skills to low/+ on pubs, when suddenly a guy named
I convinced
It also was the time, when he and me played everyday like 2hours valhalla, mostly with pistol to improve our aim, i was by far the weaker player and all the aim i got till nowadays , i have learned at these days. I also remember getting rolled by players
But after a while gaming become just a sideffect (hello grush tankdefence!). all the guys there were simply awesome and over the years we had 4 clanmeetings (i just was on 3, due to some issues) - each with the length of a complete weekend. We met ourselves the 1st times at

After playing there for over a year again, inactivity again crushed the team apart.
This was the time when i made my move onto
Yet again
After this major downfalls, i decided to quit active playing, and joined the
Also i got into
All in all i dont regret anything by playing this game. I met so many awesome people over the years in TS and RL, i had loads of fun and joy with these people. It simply was a great time. But since the game is at its end, its also necessary to make a final cut under all these events and move on. I surely wont and cant leave my fingers totally from this game, still the best times are past for me.
the guy who brought me here was the well known swedish legend
we got bored of playing age of empires II the conquerors, cuz it lagged too hard in the afternoon
been hanging around with people like
in late april/early mai i thought about getting a clan for myself, been contacted by
from this very first day at this clan i know people like
i had some inet probs since i moved in 2009 from sweden to a student home, so i was quite inactive
but i never joined another clan, and since most of the admins stopped hardcore gayming, im myself now the guy making the decisions for our clan, managing the shit and stuff
been attending sage-lan with
now i find myself seeing how et slowly dies :(
gonna add more if i find the time ;)
-My older bro was like "Dude, we have to try something online.. lemme search my CD's. Here it is! It was in a magazine"
-Installed
-Was fucking stunned -> MUST PLAY ALL THE TIME
-After a time, found czech (but many foreigners played there too) etmain public server, which i started to visit regularly (Lol, still remember having a post-it note on my monitor, where the IP was written)
-Recruited into a clan, started to play on etpro, played some tournaments
-Literally best time around the 2005 winter. Hillarious time, we were having laugh playing 24/7 (played with malfoy at that time, hehe)
-Clan broke up (sad panda), played gathers for a year
-2007 last year i was actively playing et
-2009 - intalled ET with some friends - we found out that players that were low---- back then are now high skill - (fucking newschoolers, not a game for us anymore)
-Still sometimes i turn ET on just for the nostalgie :] The same applies to crossfire.
Then ET arrived, I found it a bit boring so I stayed with RtCW for 6 more months or so, untill finally giving up and moving to ET. (also doubled my connection speed to 128kbs!)
Played in a few different clans, finally joined to Negative-Image, with them won the opencup premier thingy at season XI(?). Between that and the beginning of season XII I had enough of my crappy connection and went inactive.
It was during this time i started to get more and more interested in fragmovie production. I started planning for the puran movie in early 2004, after seeing amazing stuff like the Center of Aggression by Raziel, or the Infensus movie, or Dsky ET movie. It was finally finished in 2005.
Then sometime during 2004, me, jakazc and ravenous formed TWK - The Wolfenstein Killers. We took the name from some "highskilled" slovenian clan which got spawn raped by purans. We also took nicks from various "pwners". It was a troll clan when trolling wasnt even cool yet. Trash talking was exorbitant, but we had the skills to back it up. 3on3 was new back then, and we won pretty much every game we played. I never considered us to be top notch aimers (even if i was accused of cheating/scripting with my high m_pitch sniper nearly every game i played cvop), but we had the teamwork and game awareness that overcame most teams of better aimers.
Ravenous decided to stop playing ET shortly after and we recruited Illy-Ya, emorej and for a short while dav1d. We had some success during the opencups. Pretty much every team we lost to later proved to have a few cheaters in it (a few exceptions we always respected: idle, roistot, sF). Dealing with cheaters kinda demotivated us and we each got more and more RL commitments to tend to, so we decided to stop. I could focus more on making the TWK movie, which came out in 2007. Jakazc went to rape ETQW and later Wolfenstein (2) with dignitas. Illy-Ya went groping pharmacy students (only girls i think) for grades as a researcher/assistant of the professor. Emorej stopped delivering pizzas and started peddling dope (in drug stores). dav1d is probably still selling blood diamonds.
It was pretty awesome. I miss the old times of 2003/04. These days i spend my free time playing HoN because its even more brain>aim type of a game.
/e: Necunus played under this tag around 5 months ago, shit just got real.
That clan died for some reason and then
Around that time i also found out about Crossfire and registered but wasn't realy active yet.
We decided to call it a day with F4F due to time problems and me and my cousin both went seperate ways. My cousin moved on with
I had some smaller teams in which also got to know
Around 2 years later we (my cousin & me) found some time again and decided to resurect F4F but now under a difrent name. It became
The team grew quite big and we had quite a strong line-up.
When also this project ended i quit ET for quite some time and just was a fanboy for the FIF.Red team where a lot of guys from Gamedivision went to like
I came back 1,5 year ago. Then i just started playing in low teams with very nice guys just to have fun playing the game such as
Now i'm at uni and don't have a lot of time to play, none at all in exams so yeah.
It's reduced to some scrims and pubs from time to time :)
