After a
SOPA overload in the past few weeks, it seems that there have been a series of mini-victories in a war that is still ongoing. US Congress shelved SOPA due to the huge public opposition and lack of support from US President Barack Obama - however, Congress has continued to try and push similar bills through.
ACTA is the latest in the seemingly growing list of bills aimed at censoring the internet. The supposed threat of ACTA has been debated, with certain sources claiming that the bill is much stricter, more outrageous and frankly, far worse. Do your bit, read up on it and sign petitions.

Major League Gaming announced the first details of the upcoming 2012 Pro Circuit. There are some major changes to the scheduling, but as a casual viewer you probably won't notice much has changed. In short, they have moved away from their previous format and will now be running a new championship each season - starting with the Winter 2012 season on
January 31st. StarCraft II will remain as the flagship competition for the upcoming year. Full details can be found on the MLG site.
